Lauren was previously VP of Marketing at LifeWorks, and has harnessed her many years of experience in marketing to promote innovative technological products which promote everyday health and wellbeing. She is a qualified health coach who uses her insights from the world of wellbeing to inspire businesses to support their people with products they value and love.

Nick is responsible for the pricing of both Group and Individual business, having joined the business in January 2022. Nick has over 20 years’ experience in the Insurance industry, at both HSBC and at LV. During his time at LV he held a number of key roles including Finance Director, Commercial Director and most recently Protection Director. Prior to joining AIG Nick was also Finance Director for Cunard throughout the global pandemic. Nick is a qualified actuary and an avid cyclist and runner, with a partner Emily, 2 young sons and an 8 month old black Labrador.

Adrian Matthews is the Director of Employee Benefits for MetLife, having been appointed in June 2017. He joined MetLife in May 2011 as Chief Finance Officer for the UK. Adrian is responsible for driving substantial growth in the Employee Benefits line of the business, as well as delivering significant and transformational change, as a member of the UK Executive Committee.

The UK EB business insures over 1.6 million customers, helping businesses to prepare for the future, perform at their best and protect their people. Prior to MetLife, Adrian spent 7 years in financial services outsourcing with Unisys and Capita where he held the position of Finance Director for the south region for their Life & Pensions division and was responsible for multi-site and multi-account commercial contracts. Adrian is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and sits on the WorkPlace group and the Protection and Health Board of the Association of British Insurers.

Dr Emelina Ellis is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist BSc, CPsychol., PsychD and an accredited member of the British Psychological Society, she has experience working in services with adult, older adult, child & adolescent mental health in a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches, psychological assessment and a Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Emelina has wide experience as a Clinical Lead for Global Student Assistance Programme (SAP) providers. Dr. Emelina is the Director of Clinical Operations at Spectrum.Life and as such she is responsible for the day to day management, development and ongoing review of the clinical service, strategic planning, as well as overseeing the service delivery of Total Mental Health and Spectrum.Life’s EAP including the clinical team, employee assistance advisors, affiliate counsellors, trauma counsellors, affiliate network, recruitment, training and clinical governance.

Luke Bullen looks after the Gympass UK&I business as a whole. He is passionate about mental and physical wellbeing and works closely with our clients to ensure that Gympass supports their employees with both. In particular, he regularly meets with other C-suite members from across the ecosystem to share best practices and create value. Luke has spent more than 5 years with Gympass and has been responsible for supporting CHROs across clients including Santander, Tesco and Thames Water to improve the lives of their employees and advance their wellbeing brand value.

Prior to Gympass, Luke led multiple recruitment teams with Aston Carter to support their clients deliver on their HR & Talent strategies, whilst positioning them as market leaders versus competition.

CEO, Group Corporate Solutions, AIA Group

Shah is based in Hong Kong and is responsible for the employee benefits business at AIA, the world’s largest life insurer by market cap.  He joined AIA in 2012 with the Group’s acquisition of Aviva Sri Lanka where he was CEO from 2010 to 2016, before which he was CEO of Aviva Romania.  Shah has close to 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.  After concluding studies at the London School of Economics he joined Commercial Union (Aviva) as a Graduate Management Trainee and subsequently held senior management positions in life and general insurance in the UK, Arabian Gulf, India and continental Europe.

Chief Technology Officer, ICAS

Gus Booth-Clibborn is the CTO of ICAS World, building digital tools and systems to serve a global Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) client base across 155 countries. He is a digital mental health entrepreneur, co-founding the award-winning behaviour change app Hello Tomo in 2016 and selling into the NHS and private healthcare providers prior to exiting to ICAS in 2021. The app now forms part of the diversified mental health and wellbeing tools offered as part of ICAS’ EAP service. Gus holds a Solve Brain Health fellowship at MIT and is an Aspen institute Young Global Leader. ICAS is a Lyra health company, and the group helps over 10m people worldwide.

Inclusion Community & Wellbeing Team, Mental Health First Aider

Sean Maywood is a Mental Health First Aid Instructor at PwC. Sean joined PwC in August 2016 after a 25-year teaching career, where alongside teaching the subject of science he had various pastoral roles, including child protection officer and subsequent liaison with many health and welfare related agencies. After joining PwC to support new joiners and those in their first five years at the firm, he was asked to train as a Mental Health First Aider. In 2018 he trained to be a MHFA Instructor to deliver that training to PwC staff. To date in PwC approximately 400 staff have been trained in MHFA 2 day, a further 2000 in Mental Health awareness with a range of online e-learns available to all staff too. Sean has also delivered MHFA training to staff working with school children in Bradford, various charities and the McLaren Formula 1 race team. Outside of work, Sean is married with 2 university age children, used to play rugby and now, according to some in his household, spends too much money on, and time riding, his bicycle.

Director of Global Customer and Distribution Management, Zurich

Cornelius Fröscher is a Global Customer and Distribution Management Director at Zurich Insurance for Corporate Life and Pensions. He is responsible for driving customer strategy by way of digital selling, social engagement and global marketing activities. Cornelius steers the corporate workstream for Zurich’s thought leadership agenda on People Protection in collaboration with the University of Oxford. Cornelius managed global customer and marketing initiatives for Zurich’s P&C insurance division in Zurich, Switzerland, leading customer-centric transformation initiatives such as establishing a common currency for customer satisfaction, segment specific offerings and customer lifetime value. Before relocating to Zurich in 2012, Cornelius held the position of Project Portfolio Manager responsible for strategic business development initiatives in Bonn, Germany.

Wellbeing and Benefits Strategic Advisor

Laura Jackson is now an independent Wellbeing and Benefits Strategic Advisor, with over 25 years experience in the financial services sector. Previously she was Global Head of Wellbeing and Benefit Strategy at Credit Suisse, and in her role was responsible for developing a global strategy to ensure a consistent approach and messaging around wellbeing and benefits, while recognizing regional and local country differences. She worked on developing Credit Suisse’s global wellbeing propositions with a focus on how to respond to the growing needs of employees in an ever changing world.

Pablo helps companies care beyond duty whilst intelligently protect from risks thanks to over 17 years’ experience across both Life & General Insurance. For three years, he has led the development of Zurich’s strategic global partnership with Lockton on employee benefit solutions.

Prior to joining Lockton, Simon was the Global Benefits Director for The Coca-Cola Company and also worked at Willis Towers Watson and predecessor companies for over 30 years, holding a number of leadership roles.
